STORY
The Arellano family has been in the Mexican Restaurant business since 1986. The first El Rodeo was opened on Williamson Rd at the current location of the Coin Laundry business. Our Father, uncle, and cousin introduced the Roanoke Valley to Mexican food as we know it today. Within a few years, the original location could not support the communities' demand for our food so it was moved to our current larger location.

El Rodeo on Williamson Rd has always been referred to in our family as #1! (El Uno). The first to open and give a new future to our family. While the business has changed hands between family members, it has always stayed true to its origin as the first Authentic Mexican Restaurant in Roanoke, VA.
